GALBA members Andy and Nick contributed to a BBC1 television programme about the impact of flying on the climate.
“Cheap Flights: what they really mean for you” was broadcast on 28 November and is still available to watch on the BBC iPlayer. The programme investigates the many obstacles to decarbonising aviation, which is why we agree with the Climate Change Committee – don’t expand airports unless there is a proven way to cut the emissions caused by flying.
