Legal letters: from LBA to GALBA and from GALBA to LCC

In a letter sent to GALBA by Leeds Bradford Airport’s lawyers, LBA claims there is no limit on the number of night flights allowed at the airport. This is despite Leeds City Council’s CLEUD decision that only 941 additional night flights were permitted on top of the annual cap of 4,000 night flights. GALBA has written to Leeds City Council asking them to confirm that the Council will take strong enforcement action if LBA exceeds the annual limit of 4,941 night flights.
